ABOUT
Don French (March 31, 1940 - February 12, 2022) was a rockabilly singer and guitarist with distinctly expressive vocals who became famous during the late 1950s. He is best known for the haunting ballad, "Lonely Saturday Night" (1959), cited by longtime BBC Radio 1 deejay John Peel (August 30, 1939 - October 25, 2004) as being one of his favorite records.
