ABOUT

Donnie Iris (b. 1943) is a veteran rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was a co-founding member of The Jaggerz and had also worked with Wild Cherry before going solo in 1980. Other major hits include the catchy and anthemic "Ah! Leah!" (1980) and the energetic "Love Is Like A Rock" (1981), which both also made the Top 40.
