The Dyna-Sores

ABOUT

The Dyna-Sores were an R&B group with a flair for comedy that became famous during the early 1960s. Key members included H.B. Barnum and Jimmy Norman. They are best known for their hit cover of the Dallas Frazier-penned "Alley-Oop" (1960), an oldies novelty classic about the same-named comic strip caveman that topped the charts for The Hollywood Argyles that same year and also became a hit for a number of other artists.
