Earl-Jean McCrea (b. 1942), better known professionally by her first name, is a former R&B/pop singer who became famous during the early 1960s as a member of The Cookies. As a solo artist, she is best known for the Gerry Goffin/Carole King-penned "I'm Into Somethin' Good" (1964), a Top 40 feel-good smash which also became a big hit for Herman's Hermits that same year. She went on to become a specialist in early childhood and opened a day care center.
