Eddie Calvert


Eddie Calvert (March 15, 1922 - August 7, 1978) was a popular English virtuoso trumpeter (a.k.a. The Man With The Golden Trumpet) who became famous during the 1950s. He is best known in the U.S. for his Top 10 hit instrumental rendition of the sweet "Oh, Mein Papa" (1953).
