Eddie Cochran

Eddie Cochran (October 3, 1938 - April 17, 1960) was a highly acclaimed and influential rock & roll singer and songwriter who became famous during the late 1950s. His many signature songs include such oldies classics as "Summertime Blues" (1958) and "C'mon Everybody" (1958). His life and career were tragically cut short at age 21 in an automobile accident that also injured Gene Vincent. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
