Eddie Fisher (August 10, 1928 - September 22, 2010) was a hugely popular singer, teen idol, and actor with a melodious tenor and one of the 1950s top pop acts who sold millions of records and hosted his own TV show. His long string of hits from 1948-1967 includes such signature chart toppers as "Wish You Were Here" (1952), "I'm Walking Behind You" (1953), "Oh! My Pa-Pa (O Mein Papa)" (1953), and "I Need You Now" (1954).
