Samuel "Eddie" Hodges is a former child actor who became famous as a recording artist during the early 1960s while still in his teens. He is best known for his hit cover of The Isley Brothers' "I'm Gonna Knock On Your Door" (1961), a U.S. Top 20 smash that topped the charts in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, and Sweden. His many movie credits include "A Hole In The Head" (1959) and "The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn" (1960).
