Eddie Wilcox And His Orchestra


Eddie Wilcox (December 27, 1907 - September 29, 1968) was a jazz pianist and arranger who became famous during the early 1950s. He is best known for his Top 20 hit cover of the Bennie Benjamin/George David Weiss-penned pop standard, "Wheel Of Fortune" (1952). Wilcox had previous played with the Jimmie Lunceford Orchestra and served as the band's main arranger through the late 1940s.
