Eddy Duchin (April 1, 1909 - February 9, 1951) was a highly acclaimed jazz pianist and bandleader who became famous during the 1930s and 1940s. His long string of hits from 1932-1942 include such chart-toppers as "Let's Fall In Love" (1934) and "It's De-Loverly" (1936). After his passing, a biopic was released in 1956, "The Eddy Duchin Story," co-starring Tyrone Power and Kim Novak.
