Elvin Bishop is a highly acclaimed and veteran blues and rock singer, guitarist, bandleader, and songwriter who became famous during the mid 1970s. He is best known for the self-penned smash, "Fooled Around And Fell In Love" (1976), which went gold. Prior to going solo, he had played lead guitar with The Paul Butterfield Blues Band. Bishop was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of that group in 2015 and the Blues Hall of Fame in 2016.
