Elvis Costello (b. 1954) is a highly acclaimed and veteran English rock singer-songwriter and producer born Declan Patrick MacManus who became famous during the 1980s. His best known songs include "Everyday I Write The Book" (1983) and the Paul McCartney-penned "Veronica" (1989). He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
