Eric Carmen (b. 1949) is a highly acclaimed and veteran singer, songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, and former lead vocalist of The Raspberries who became famous as a solo artist beginning in the mid 1970s. He is best known for the epic smash power ballads, "All By Myself" (1975), "Hungry Eyes" (1987), and "Make Me Lose Control" (1988).
