ABOUT
Ernie Fields (August 28, 1904 - May 1, 1997) was a veteran trombonist, pianist, arranger, and bandleader who became famous as a recording artist during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Best known for his smash R&B remake of Glenn Miller's "In The Mood" (1959), which became a million seller, other hits include his renditions of other such pop standards as "Chattanooga Choo Choo" (1960) and "The Charleston" (1961).
