Eydie Gorme (August 16, 1928 - August 10, 2013, b. Edith Gormezano) was a versatile pop singer who became famous beginning in the 1950s both as a solo artist and as one half of the "Steve & Eydie" duo with her husband, Steve Lawrence. Best known for the catchy "Blame It On The Bossa Nova" (1963), other top hits include "Love Me Forever" (1957) and "You Need Hands" (1958).
