Elli Robert Fitoussi (b. 1954), known professionally as F.R. David, is a veteran Tunisian-born French pop singer and musician who became internationally famous during the early 1980s. He is best known for the catchy synth-pop romantic ballad, "Words" (1983), which sold eight million records worldwide and topped many European charts.
