Fabulous Counts

ABOUT

The Fabulous Counts (later The Counts) were a soul/funk group from Detroit, MI that achieved local acclaim as an instrumental group and as a backing ensemble for visiting solo acts before they became famous nationally during the early 1970s. They are best known for "Get Down People" (1970), which made the R&B Top 40 and also became a minor hit on the Pop/Rock charts.
