The Fat Boys were a hip hop trio from Brooklyn, NY with a combined weight of over 850 lbs who became famous during the late 1980s. The lineup consisted of Mark "Prince Markie Dee" Morales, Damon "Kool Rock-Ski" Wimbley, and Darren "Buff Love" Robinson. Their best known songs include hit covers of such oldies classics as The Surfaris' "Wipe Out (1987, with The Beach Boys), Hank Ballard's "The Twist (Yo, Twist!) (1988, with Chubby Checker), and The Kingsmen's "Louie, Louie" (1988).
