ABOUT
The Joseph A. Ferko String Band (aka Ferko String Band) is a veteran ensemble from Philadelphia, PA with a long tradition of performing annually in the city's famous New Years Day Mummers Parade along with a number of other string bands. They are best known nationally for "Alabama Jubilee" (1955) and their rendition of the country standard, "You Are My Sunshine" (1955).
