Fire & Rain were a folk duo consisting of Patti McCarron and Manny Freiser that became famous during the early 1970s. They are best known for their soulful hit rendition of Barbara Lewis's "Hello Stranger" (1973). Their group moniker came from the same-named James Taylor 1970 oldies classic.
