Fireflies

ABOUT

The Fireflies were a doo-wop group from Long Island, NY that became famous during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Formed by producer Gerry Granahan, they were one of the first such groups in which all band members both sang and played instruments, and they underwent several lineup changes. Best known for the Top 40 smash, "You Were Mine" (1959), other hits include "I Can't Say Goodbye" (1960).
