ABOUT
The Five Du-Tones were an R&B/soul group formed in St. Louis, MO while all the members were still in high school that became famous during the early 1960s. The classic lineup consisted of lead singer Andrew Butler along with Willie Guest, LeRoy Joyce, Frank McCurrey, and James West. They are best known for their early hit version of the oldies dance classic, "Shake A Tail Feather" (1963), which later became a Top 40 hit for James & Bobby Purify.
