ABOUT

Flip Cartridge was an alias for Wilbur "Billy" Meshel (ca. 1933 - May 30, 2015), a veteran songwriter and music publishing exectutive who became famous as a performing artist during the mid 1960s. He is best known under that name for the self-penned "Dear Mrs. Applebee" (1966), which also became a hit that year for English pop singer David Garrick. Meshel's numerous songwriting credits include "Time To Change" for the TV sitcom, "The Brady Bunch."
