A Flock of Seagulls is a highly acclaimed and veteran English new wave band with many personnel changes over the years that became famous during the early 1980s. Best known for the soaring and era-defining "I Ran (So Far Away" (1982), the song's companion video received a lot of airplay on MTV. The band won a Grammy in 1983 for their instrumental, "D.N.A."
