The Fools are a veteran rock band from Ipswich, MA famous for their party atmosphere live performances and tongue-in-cheek song parodies. During the early 1980s, they made a splash on the Pop/Rock charts with "It's A Night For Beautiful Girls" (1980) and their hit cover of Roy Orbison's "Running Scared" (1981). The Fools served as an opening act for such bands as The Knack and Van Halen.
