Foreigner is a highly acclaimed and veteran English-American rock band that became famous beginning in the late 1970s. Best known for the soaring power ballad, "I Want To Know What Love Is" (1984), which topped the charts, the band's long string of hits also includes such classic rock staples as "Cold As Ice" (1977), "Hot Blooded" (1978), "Double Vision" (1978), and "Urgent" (1981). Foreigner is one of the world's all-time top-selling bands, with sales exceeding 80 million records. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2024.
