The Furys

ABOUT

The Furys were a doo-wop group with a lineup that included tenors Tony Allen and Jimmy Green with baritone Jerome Evans that became famous during the early 1960s. They are best known for their hit doo-wop remake of the James F. Hanley-penned 1935 pop standard, "Zing! Went The Strings Of My Heart" (1963), from the Broadway revue, "Thumbs Up!".
