The Galens

The Galens were a pop group consisting of Norman Galen (piano), Bob Hubener (bass), George Ross (percussion), and lead singer Charlene Knight that became famous during the early 1960s. They are best known for "Baby I Do Love You" (1963) which is based on a German folk song titled "Du Du Liegst Mir Im Herzen" and features unusual background saw noises throughout.
