Gamma was a hard rock band formed in San Francisco by guitarist Ronnie Montrose and singer Davey Pattison that became famous during the early 1980s. Best known for "Right The First Time" (1982), a minor hit in the U.S. which made the Top 40 in Canada, other hits include "I'm Alive" (1980).
