Gary O'Connor, better known as Gary O', is a veteran Canadian rock singer and songwriter who became famous during the early 1980s. He is best known in both the U.S. and Canada for his hit cover of The Hollies' "Pay You Back With Interest" (1981). His many songwriting credits for other artists include the 38 Special Top 20 smash, "Back Where You Belong."
