Gene Vincent (February 11, 1935 - October 12, 1971) was a highly acclaimed and pioneering rock & roll singer and guitarist who became famous beginning in the late 1950s. His best known songs include the rockabilly classic, "Be-Bop-A-Lula" (1956). He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
