Genesis

ABOUT

Genesis was a highly acclaimed and veteran English rock band formed at Charterhouse School in Godalming, Surrey that became famous beginning in the 1970s as one of that era's pioneers of progressive rock. The band's lineup included, at various times, keyboardist Tony Banks, bassist/guitarist Mike Rutherford, drummer/singer Phil Collins, singer Peter Gabriel, and guitarist Steve Hackett, with Banks and Rutherford as the only constant members throughout the band's long history. Their long string of hits includes the chart-topping "Invisible Touch" (1986). Genesis was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
