Georgio Allentini (b. George Allen), known professionally by his first name, is a funk and dance music singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who became famous during the late 1980s. His best known songs include "Tina Cherry" (1987), which made the R&B Top 5. Allentini later transitioned to filmmaking with the release in 2003 of "Tapped Out," which he produced and directed. He also composed the soundtrack to this movie.
