The Gestures

ABOUT

The Gestures were a teenage garage rock band from Mankato, MN that became famous during the mid 1960s. The lineup consisted of Dale Menten (guitar, vocals), Gus Dewey (guitar), Tom Klugherz (bass), and Bruce Waterston (drums). They are best known for the energetic, British Invasion-styled "Run, Run, Run" (1964), written by Menten. The Gestures were inducted into the Minnesota Rock & Country Hall of Fame in 2008.
