The Glencoves were a folk/pop trio from Long Island, NY consisting of Brian Bolger, Bill Byrne, and Don Connors that became famous during the early 1960s. They are best known for the Top 40 smash, "Hootenanny" (1963). The song's title refers to the folk singalongs popular during the folk revival of the 1960s and the name of the TV variety show broadcast on ABC from 1963-1964.
