ABOUT
Glenn Frey (November 6, 1948 - January 18, 2016) was a highly acclaimed singer, songwriter, and musician who rose to fame during the 1970s as an Eagles lead singer and band co-founder. While they were on hiatus from 1980-1994, Frey launched a highly successful solo career and in 1982 released his debut album, "No Fun Aloud." His long string of hits includes "The Heat Is On" (1984) and "You Belong To The City" (1985), which both reached #2 on the Pop/Rock charts. As an Eagles member, Frey won six Grammys and five American Music Awards and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 along with other members of the band.
