The Glitter Band is a veteran English glam rock group formed in 1973 as the backing band for Gary Glitter. The Glitter Band had seven UK Top 20 hit in the mid 1970s and released three hit albums. They are best known in the U.S. for the funky disco instrumental, "Makes You Blind" (1976).
