Gogi Grant (September 20, 1924 - March 10, 2016, b. Myrtle Audrey Arinsberg) was a traditional pop singer with powerful, dramatic vocals who became famous during the mid 1950s. She is best known for the epic "The Wayward Wind" (1956), which topped the charts and became a million-seller. Other big hits include the ballad "Suddenly There's A Valley" (1955), which made the Top 10.
