ABOUT

Gone All Stars was an instrumental rock band formed by George Goldner, an influential record label owner, producer, and promoter, that became famous during the late 1950s. They are best known for the rollicking "7-11" (1958), a Top 40 rock & roll remake of Perez Prado's "Mambo No. 5" featuring a honking saxophone throughout. Members included jazz saxophonist and bandleader Buddy Lucas (August 16, 1914 - March 18, 1983).
