The son of country great Hank Williams, Hank Williams Jr. (b. May 26, 1949) is also a country star with over 100 hits on the Country charts from 1964-2009. He debuted in 1964 at age 14 with a cover of his father's "Long Gone Lonesome Blues," a Top 5 Country hit that crossed over to the Pop/Rock charts. He is a multi-intrumentalist proficient on the guitar, banjo, piano, saxophone, drums, fiddle, and several other instruments. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2020.
