Head East is a veteran hard rock band from Illinois originally led by John Schlitt that became famous during the mid and late 1970s. Best known for the feel-good rocker, "Never Been Any Reason" (1975), other hits include "Love Me Tonight" (1976, not to be confused with the same-named Tom Jones hit) and "Since You Been Gone" (1978, not to be confused with Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone").
