Heatwave is a veteran funk band formed in London, England with a great deal of crossover appeal that became famous during the late 1970s. Best known for the disco classic, "Boogie Nights" (1977), which made both the Pop/Rock and R&B Top 5, other hits include the romantic ballad, "Always And Forever" (1978), and the funky "The Groove Line" (1978).
