Hermanus "Herman" Brood (November 5, 1946 - July 11, 2001) was a Dutch musician, painter, actor, poet, and leader of the rock band, Wild Romance, who became famous as a solo artist during the late 1970s. He is best known in the U.S. for the 1979 Top 40 smash, "Saturdaynight."
