ABOUT
Horace Heidt (May 21, 1901 - December 1, 1986) was a pianist, big band leader, and radio and TV personality. With his band, the Musical Knights, he toured vaudeville and performed on radio and TV during the 1930s and 1940s. They topped the Pop charts with "Gone With The Wind" (1937) and "Ti-Pi-Tin" (1938), and their long string of hits through 1945 also includes "G'bye Now" (1941), "The Hut-Sut Song (A Swedish Serenade)" (1941), and "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire" (1941).
