Howard Tate (August 13, 1939 - December 2, 2011) was a critically acclaimed soul singer and songwriter who became famous during the late 1960s. He had three Top 20 R&B chart hits with "Ain't Nobody Home" (1966), "Look At Granny Run, Run" (1966), and "Stop" (1968).
