ABOUT

Hugo & Luigi were a duo of songwriters and producers, Hugo Peretti (December 6, 1916 - May 1, 1986) and Luigi Creatore (December 21, 1921 - December 13, 2015), that became famous during the late 1950s. The are best known for the Top 40 smash, "Just Come Home" (1959), a lushly orchestrated pop ballad backed by a large chorus urging a loved one to return safely to the comfort and warmth of home. Over the years, Hugo and Luigi wrote and/or produced for such artists as Perry Como, Sam Cooke, The Isley Brothers, Little Peggy March, Elvis Presley, Della Reese, The Stylistics, and The Tokens.
