ABOUT

Ian Gomm is a veteran English guitarist, singer, and songwriter who served as the rhythm guitarist for the English pub rock band, Brinsley Schwarz, during the early 1970s. He is best known for the Top 20 smash, "Hold On" (1979), which has since been featured as bumper music on the radio show, "Coast To Coast AM." In addition, Gomm co-wrote "Cruel To Be Kind" with his former Brinsley Schwarz bandmate Nick Lowe, which went on to become a Top 20 hit for Lowe in 1979 in the U.S., the U.K., and Australia.
