Impact

ABOUT

Impact was a short-lived R&B group formed by Damon Harris (July 17, 1950 - February 18, 2013) that became famous during the mid 1970s. They are best known for "Give A Broken Heart A Break" (1976) and the feel-good "Happy Man (Pt. I)" (1976), the latter of which became their biggest Pop/Rock crossover success. Harris was a member of The Temptations from 1971-1975, and his distinctive tenor/falsetto vocals can be heard on such classics as "Papa Was A Rollin' Stone."
