The Impalas

ABOUT

The Impalas were a doo-wop group from Brooklyn, NY led by Joe "Speedo" Frazier (d. April 1, 2014, age 70) that became famous during the late 1950s. Best known for the uptempo oldies classic, "Sorry (I Ran All The Way Home)" (1959), a Top 5 Pop/Rock hit which made the R&B Top 20 and became a million-seller. After The Impalas disbanded in 1961, Frazier reformed the group in 1980 as a touring act.
