Jake Holmes is a veteran singer-songwriter and jingle writer who became famous as a recording artist during the early 1970s, scoring a hit in 1970 with the romantic soft rocker, "So Close." He is best known for his many memorable commercial jingles that include "I'm A Pepper" and "Be All That You Can Be" for the U.S. Army. His many songwriting credits for other artists include "Dazed And Confused," later reworked by Led Zeppelin.
